Recipe for Easy No-Bake Peanut Butter Bars

My neighbor, Beth Frasca, treated Rob and me to some delicious peanut butter bars last week. As soon as she told me what was in them, I knew I had to have the recipe. She was kind enough to share.

They have a wonderful crunch to them, because they have a graham cracker crust. Plus, they're the perfect dessert for a hot day, because they're no-bake. They're really different from my other favorite peanut-butter bar recipe (which is designed to taste like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups) but in a delicious, peanut-buttery way.

Here's the recipe:

Easy No-Bake Peanut Butter Bars

1 cup butter, melted
2 cups graham crackers, crushed
2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup (Beth uses 1/2 cup crunchy and 1/2 cup smooth) plus 4 tablespoons smooth peanut butter
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Mix butter, graham crackers powdered sugar and 1 cup peanut butter until well blended. Press into a 9-inch-by-13-inch pan.

Melt chocolate chips and remaining peanut butter in microwave, stirring ever 30 seconds. Spread over bottom layer. Refrigerate for one hour before eating.
