Some ideas for baking up fall flavors

Some ideas for baking up fall flavors

The cooler temperatures have me suddenly yearning for baked fall flavors.

(Although I admit, I would skip straight to baking Christmas cookies if I thought it would be socially acceptable. But it's not, we have more than a month of summer remaining on the calendar, and I'm digressing.)

My previously blogged recipes for apple peanut butter cookies and creamy pumpkin mousse pie would work. But the flavors I've really been daydreaming about include tart apple sweetness and caramel with a hint of salt.

Thanks to Pinterest, I can now daydream and include pretty photos of baked goods in my blog. Don't these things look tasty?

I just picked up everything to make applesauce bread and pumpkin bread tomorrow. I should make them muffins so they last longer. I want zucchini bread too. And one day of snow so I can have chili! lol
