Last November, I had a blast running tons of Thanksgiving recipes, many of them submitted by readers.
I'm hoping to do it again, but I need your help. If you have an awesome Thanksgiving recipe you'd be willing to share, would you send it to me?
It can be something you've made for your family for ages, or a dish you tried last year and loved. I'm looking for those tried and true recipes that you know are awesome and want others to have, too. It could even be a clever recipe for using up Thanksgiving leftovers.
Because, sure, you can always find recipes on Pinterest, but - have you ever seen the blog Pinterest Fail? I'm thinking reader-submitted recipes may be more reliable.
To submit a recipe, here's what you need to do: send me an email by clicking here, or a message on Facebook. Please include your full name and the town where you live (so I can write, "This is a recipe from Urbana resident John Smith").
If you could include a note on why you love the recipe, that would be great. If you happen to have a photo, could you send it, as well? If you don't have one, though, that's OK - I can probably find one that will work.
I'm hoping to start running recipes Nov. 1, and if I get enough, post one every day until Thanksgiving. That's a lot of recipes, so I would be so grateful for your help.
Just think - Thanksgiving is a month from yesterday. Time to get cracking!
