If you're local and a subscriber, chances are you saw my exciting news in today's paper: I'm now writing a little cooking column for the Food section each Wednesday.
In the last three years, I've fallen in love with blogging, especially about food. I'm incredibly grateful to Features Editor Tony Manucso for allowing me a space in the paper.
I'm really hoping the column will feature those well-loved, reader-submitted recipes I like to feature here. I have plenty I've already posted to draw from, but I would also love it if readers would send more for possible publication.
I'm especially attached to reader-submitted recipes because they remind me of the Tried and True feature we used to include in each Wednesday's Food page when I worked in the Features section.
My late and beloved editor, Becky Mabry, dreamed that up, so I feel like it's a fun little way to honor her memory.
