Today's recipe is another from Jennifer Wilson, who sent me several more gems I'll be sharing here. She took the photo, too, and I've used it with her permission.
Makes about 4 cups
5 cups leftover turkey
1 large sweet onion
1 slice white bread
2 cups Miracle Whip
Using a meat grinder, grind leftover cooked turkey into a bowl. Then grind onion. Finish with white bread. Mix in Miracle Whip. It's preferred over mayonnaise, to balance the sharpness of the onion.
The spread is best when refrigerated three hours before serving. Serve with Swedish crispbread or rye crackers.
