PSU Efficiency: Not How, But How Many

One benefit of so many fouls? Better efficiency numbers.
Here's one of the few times all night there were consecutive possessions with no fouls called:

I'll have more season-to-date info in the morning, but here are this game's efficiency statistics, greatly impacted by the 52 fouls (yes, 52 fouls) whistled by the Ed Hightower-led officiating crew.
- Illinois PPP: 0.98
- Illinois eFG%: 47.6%
- Illinois TO%: 16.9%
- Illinois Offensive Rebound%: 20.7%
- Penn State PPP: 0.97
- Penn State eFG%: 52.1%
- Penn State TO%: 26.4% (biggest difference in the game)
- Penn State Offensive Rebound%: 36.7%
This one shouldn't change the Illini's season-to-date stats too much, though it might bump them down a few spots in the offensive PPP rankings.
