Now that I've had some time to collect my memories and get myself back together, I remember a lot more about the weekend, both musically and just in general. Things got kicked off Friday morning with a blistering set from Old Shoe. They were really in the zone, every note sounded effortless and perfectly placed.
What a weekend. Ups and downs, emotions overflowing, rain and mud. Dirty people struggling to stand up and throw down with the artists who put their soul into such a fantastic festival.
Somehow in the flurry of activity coming his way, Matt Robinson of Old Shoe (vocals, guitar) was kind enough to answer a few questions about the band and life on the road.
