Summer Camp in Review

What a weekend. Ups and downs, emotions overflowing, rain and mud. Dirty people struggling to stand up and throw down with the artists who put their soul into such a fantastic festival. From Cornmeal covering Metallica's "For Whom the Bell Tolls" to Dominic Lalli (resident sax-genius of Big Gigantic) joining Umphrey's McGee onstage to a Victor Wooten sit-in with moe., the weekend was full of surprises. I'm still sorting through the highlights, but they include Breakfast with Chicago Farmer on Saturday, funkalicious afternoon jams with Lettuce on Sunday, and Trey Anastasio's glorious closing set on Sunday evening. Expect more tomorrow, there's still a lot to talk about.
