3. It’s about time you started the longest relationship you’ll ever have.
4. It’s time to neaten up those electrical cords anyway.
5. Kittens are much better entertainment than “real” housewives from anywhere, vampire dramas, and (lack of) talent shows.

7. Kittens find you attractive even when you’re wearing sweatpants and have bad hair.
8. The cat you already have is bored, sedentary, or getting too big for his britches.
9. You’re bored, sedentary, or getting too big for your britches.
10. It’s never a bad time to make unconditional love a part of your life.
But seriously folks, the Champaign County Humane Society and other cat-rescue organizations are currently trying to find homes for A LOT of kittens and cats. And all kidding aside, cats really are wonderful pets! If you think you might be ready to add a four-legged companion to your household, please come out and talk to shelter staff and volunteers about the many animals in need of homes.
This weekend, CCHS will be showcasing kittens at PetSmart in Champaign from 11 am to 4 pm Saturday & Sunday. The CCHS shelter will also be open during the regular weekend hours, from 11 am to 6 pm on Saturday, and 11 am to 4 pm on Sunday.
To preview some of the kittens available for adoption, visit the CCHS website at www.cuhumane.org
Note: If you meet a kitten that you would like to adopt at PetSmart, you will be able to start the adoption process at the store. However, adoption applications take at least one full day to process and you will be notified later regarding the status of your application. If your application is approved, a "go home" appointment will be set up for you at the shelter. All kittens will be spayed or neutered by CCHS before going home with adopters.
