Let the games begin!

This week, I'm in Los Angeles at E3, the Electronic Entertainment Expo.

In case you are unfamiliar with the event, it's the venue where game developers and publishers make the majority of their big announcements for the year -- and give us glimpses of the games they are working on. For example, this year Nintendo is expected to announce their next console, and it's likely to be far more powerful than the Wii. That news should come Tuesday morning.

Today, however, I'll be at several press conferences -- for Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft and Sony -- and I hope to bring you timely announcements from each of them. However, wifi connections at these things tend to be spotty, so I can't make promises. I'll also do my best to tweet on my Playing_Critic twitter feed.
