Dark Souls II announced

Namco Bandai Games America revealed Friday night that "Dark Souls II" is currently in development at FromSoftware in Tokyo, Japan. While a release date hasn't been set, the developer is indicating it will be available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

According to Namco Bandai's press release, "will feature a new hero, a new storyline, and an unfamiliar world for players to survive in while delivering its signature brand of unrelenting punishment that players hunger for." Also, the series' familiar server-based multiplayer mode is being "revamped," though it's not clear yet what that'll mean for players.

Players are invited to watch www.DarkSoulsII.com for more details, "or join the 'Dark Souls II' conversation on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/DARKSOULS."
