There's a big problem with deifying politicians.
They don't deserve it and can't live up to to naive expectations, especially if they're engaged in mud fights with the likes of Billary Clinton.
Poor Barack Obama was flying high just two months ago, drawing huge ovations merely for blowing his nose.(That really happened.) He's still a political force, but one who is now looking quite human, prickly and resentful as he copes with his own missteps and others' attacks on him.
Naturally, the Obammunists are crying foul. But politics is a bloodsport, and the rules of the game don't change even for those who like to think they're above it all.
