Done in by your wants, not your needs?

Done in by your wants, not your needs?

New York Times columnist David Brooks has an excellent column about something we could all do, relatively easily, that would dramatically improve our lives and not require anything of the government.

Doesn't that sound great?

Brooks is writing about personal irresponsibility, particularly with respect to money, and how it has changed people's lives and greatly damaged our society.

It's worth reading, and the advice it offers is worth following.
