Let the Harry Potter obsession continue!

Consider my day made. Or maybe my month.
Around this time last summer, I helped put together The News-Gazette's Harry Potter coverage. It wasn't hard. To say I love these books is an understatement. I love that they've gotten families reading together. I love that they've gotten kids excited about reading, and about using their imagination. And I just plain love reading them. They're fun, and J.K. Rowling is such a skillful writer -- each time I read and reread her books, I realize how much thought must have gone into plotting out all these details and keeping track of everything over thousands of pages.
But I digress. The news here is that "The Tales of Beedle the Bard," the book of wizard fairy tales so pivotal in the final Harry Potter, is going to be published in December, with the proceeds going to a children's charity, according to Reuters. There's a $13 version and a version Amazon plans to sell for $100 that looks like the one Rowling hand-drew.
I wonder if this book will draw the thousand-deep crowds I saw at local Harry Potter events last summer. Will you be buying your book on Dec. 4?
