I wrote a story for Saturday's paper about Ben's Bells, which are windchimes handmade by local students, encouraging local residents to be intentionally kind.

Last night's school board meeting was an interesting one. Robert's Rules of Order governs the school board (and many other bodies) but I've never seen it come into play quite so prominently during a meeting.

The agenda for the Champaign school board regular meeting scheduled for Monday has been posted.

Two things I wanted to mention today, both concerning the Champaign school board:

Tonight, Board Member Jamar Brown and Champaign schools' Chief Operating Officer Gene Logas will be available to talk with the public at 6 p.m. tonight in room 215 of the Champaign Public Library, 200 W. Green St., C.
