Here's what Paul Klee is writing about this morning's nail-biting Illini win in Hawaii. All of his coverage is on our Web site:
What Happened

The Illini jetted over the Pacific and the 'Bows jetted up and down the court -- for the first half. Turns out, a fast-paced game was tailor-made for Illinois, too, and the once-weary visitors recovered from a 13-point deficit to douse a late-night luau at the Stan Sheriff Center. The final: 79-77 Illinois.

What It Means
Despite the result, perhaps the Big Ten should avoid traveling to
Honolulu. Then-No. 4 Michigan State lost by 22 at Hawaii in 2005, and it appeared the Illini were headed toward a similar fate before Chester Frazier overcame Michigan State-like cramping to help deliver a victory.

What the Illini said
"I hope it helps us. We survived it. I'm not sure we deserved it. We
deserved it in that we didn't quit." -- Bruce Weber

What's Next
Illinois' third appearance in the eight-team Maui Invitational. The first of three games is Monday against Arizona State as the Illini look to improve a Maui record of 4-2. Unlike Illinois, which has two wins to learn from, the Sun Devils will open their season in Maui.

On to football:
A reminder to check our ingame blog starting at 10 a.m. today. And stop by Bob Asmussen's blog afterward, where he'll break down the bowl situation.
