WCIA today said it would simulcast Friday's Class 3A semifinal game between Champaign Central and Chicago Simeon.Sports-lovin' GM Russ Hamilton said it's a big enough local story to bump a soap opera at 1:45 p.m.

The game also is on WCFN and WDWS 1400-AM.
Hamilton said WCIA can't show Saturday's Central game (third place or title) because of the Big Ten tournament semifinals.
