The Illini's Class of 2009 added an offensive lineman as Tallahassee's Andrew Carter committed to Ron Zook. The visit to C-U was the difference, the upcoming senior said in a story that ran in his hometown paper. Read here for more details .

Thanks for the link to the Tallahassee paper. That's something that was missing in several recent blog updates on recruits (Terry Hawthorne and Tommie Hopkins, Nathan Scheelhaase). It's good to get a local perspective on these kids.
On a side note: For those of us who rely on RSS feeds for our reading (a number that will only get bigger), the more links the better.
