On the air

On the air

This is no joke: I’ll be on WDWS radio at 4:50 p.m. today to talk about the “Are We There Yet?” column/blog and fun family things to do this weekend.

Hint: they mostly involve eggs. (I'll post the events in a bit.)

Every Thursday afternoon, I’ll chat with Jim Lewis and Elizabeth Hess on WDWS-AM 1400 about upcoming family friendly events, pulled from our News-Gazette online calendar and other sources.

Our “Family picks” will be posted on the Are We There Yet? on Thursdays as well.

The N-G online calendar is easy to use. Just go to the News-Gazette’s home page, www.news-gazette.com.  The calendar is displayed on the upper right-hand side.

Click on an individual date to see events for that day. Or, to view an entire month’s worth of events for kids, click on the name of the month, then search for “children” in the category box and click "apply." Click on an individual entry to get more details!
