Beautiful Autumn weather...

A weak front will slide into the region Sunday and cool temperatures back down into the upper 60s to lower 70s. A few rain showers are possible early next week.

Meanwhile, rain is still needed in parts of the Ohio Valley to encourage germination of newly planted winter grains.

Elsewhere in the Midwest, corn and soybean harvest activities continue to rapidly advance under a dry weather regime for much of this weekend.

The 6- to 10-day outlook calls for near- to below-normal precipitation across the majority of the U.S. which will, however, contrast with wetter-than-normal conditions in New England and from Arizona into western and southern Texas.
