A pleasant, early fall weekend is in store for this last weekend of September.
A partly to mostly sunny sky is expected today, with nothing more than a remote chance for a passing sprinkle late tonight. Highs will range through the lower and mid-70s, with lows in the mid- to upper 40s.
As the month of September winds-down, rainfall amounts were significantly up for the month. Across C-U and vicinity, totals reached around 5 inches, and since August 1st, around 11 inches!
Early next week, strong push of cold air will arrive across northern portions of the Rockies and Plains. Rain and snow showers will accompany the surge of cold air.
The 6- to 10-day outlook calls for wetter-than-normal conditions across the Midwest.
