For now...a chilly pattern

Chilly weather continues today. The mercury will continue almost 30 degrees lower compared to the weekend, with afternoon highs in the lower 40s. Another hard freeze is likely tonight, with overnight lows in the mid-20s. Uneventful  weather is expected through most of the week with no major systems forecast to affect the area.

This cold spell should be short-lived with the 6- to 10-day outlook calling for a return to near- to above-normal temperatures.

With a few snowflakes observed early yesterday morning, very soon, winter weather conditions will be upon us. Are you, your vehicle and your home ready for winter conditions? This is the time of the year to winterize your home, get your vehicle checked, and start thinking about safe winter driving habits.
