Established in 1933 on the day after Prohibition ended, The Brass Rail proudly asserts that it is the oldest tavern in Champaign.

This no-frills bar has 3 taps (Pabst Blue Ribbon, Miller Lite and Miller High Life) as well as a small selection of bottled and canned beers. Their fridge is also home to a selection of 40-ounce beverages.

Food is limited to Butch's Pizza and cheeseburgers.

Only accepting cash, this bar has a low-key, blue-collar atmosphere and caters to many service industry employees at night.
