The Sacrament of Holy communion will be celebrated at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Broadlands, this Aug. 26, in their regular service at 9 a.m. Pastor Lynn Podoll has announced his sermon topic for this week as "Look Around, Seeing." The message will be based on the Gospel Reading for the day, Luke 14:1-14. Immanuel's Sunday School classes for ages 3 through adult resume Sept. 2, at 10:15 a.m. Immanuel's Church Council is scheduled to meet on Aug. 30, at 7 p.m. Members of the community are invited to join Immanuel congregation in all its activities.
