Description:

A West African drum class for beginners to intermediate drummers taught by Gordon Kay. Come learn basic techniques, patterns, and rhythms on the djembe as well as the dunduns (bass drums). These patterns can range from the simplest of rhythms to incredibly challenging for even the most experienced musicians, so you will not be too frustrated OR too bored! 4:30 to 5:45 p.m. Sundays, Aug. 26-Dec. 16. Fee: $8 requested, but $5-$10 accepted.
