Members of the Richard L. Pittman Marine Corps League #1231 and veterans from local American Legion and VFW posts invite the public to join in commemorating the sixth anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks at a ceremony at the Memorial on the lawn of the Champaign County Courthouse at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11. At least five veterans groups will post their color guards at the event. Schedule: Opening remarks: Brian Watson (of the Richard L.
