Description:

This course is designed for the non-athlete with minimal physical skills. It will cover legal, social and psychological aspects of self-defense as it relates to women or generally people who are physically disadvantaged in a fight, such as the elderly, children, the handicapped, etc. The main emphasis will be on avoidance, assertiveness and awareness. Jeff Gaynor has done martial arts for over 28 years which includes tae kwon do, jojutsu, judo and aiki jujutsu. Ages: 18+. Thursday, 6:00-7:00 pm. September 6-October 25. $27/Resident, $36/Non-Resident. Registration Deadline: August 30.
