First time author and member of the Fighting Illini Womens Wheelchair Basketball team Arley McNeney will be discussing her novel, "Post." McNeney has been published in literary journals at the University of Toronto, and the University of Victoria and won the Mocambo Café Poetry Prize. Post tells the story of Nolan Taylor, a 13-year veteran of the Canadian womens wheelchair basketball team. Her position as Big Girl on the team belies her fragility when her decision to retire and undergo a long overdue hip replacement throws her into a post-retirement identity crisis.
