RICH COLLINS TO SPEAK AT LEAP The LEAP study group for educators and parents will meet from 6:30 to 8:30PM on September 25 at the Family Resiliency Center in the Doris Kelley Christopher Hall at 904 W. Nevada St. {corner of Lincoln Avenue and W. Nevada St. in Urbana]. RICH COLLINS, director of the Brehm School in Carbondale will present "Practice to Research to Practice: the Current Cycle and the Impact on the Family". Rich Collins has a PhD and grew up in Massachussetts with an attention deficit disorder and dyslexia. He taught at Harvard University in an adjunct position and has presented at numerous national conferences. Rich will not only share information about research but will speak from the heart as he describes the need for early intervention and the academic and emotional complications for the child and family as the child reaches high school and college.
