As a community service, Newberrys Black Belt Academy is hosting a free child safety seminar on Sept. 29. The event is endorsed by AMBERalert.com and is free to the public. The seminar will provide information to parents and children regarding abduction prevention through the ATA's Kidz'n Power safety program. Activities include: self-defense instruction, role playing with possible "stranger dangers", methods to deal with bullies, schild abduction safety tips, child ID cards and fingerprinting. Seminar Times: children 4-8 years old 10:00-11:30 children 9 years and up 11:30-1:00
