The world's leading climate scientists agree that our global climate is changing, and that humans are greatly accelerating the natural rate of these changes. The University YMCA will be offering a presentation about climate change on Thursday, March 6 at 6 p.m. Carolyn Treadway, a Climate Project volunteer, will be leading the event. This is a free presentation and all are welcomed to join. In January 2007, Carolyn Treadway was trained by Al Gore and his team of top climate scientists and environmental educators to be one of his "1000 Messengers" to take the climate crisis message across the land at the grassroots level. Since then, she has given more than 25 climate presentations and is committed to giving many, many more. The overall message is "We CAN reverse this crisis if we act NOW."For more information:
