Two Great American Art Forms: Jazz and Barbecue The Kenny Barron Trio and the Russell Malone Quartet The chef team will fly in with the jazzmen, for one magical evening transforming Krannert Center's lobby into a juke joint, servin' up jazz with a side of 'cue in an evening that features the Kenny Barron Trio, the Russell Malone Quartet, and the award-winning authentic pit barbecue of famed New York City restaurateur Danny Meyer. Jazz aficionados and foodies in the Big Apple have made Blue Smoke (upstairs) and Jazz Standard (downstairs) their 27th Street meccas, named the Citys Best Barbecue by Time Out New York and Best Jazz Club by New York Magazine. The aroma of pit barbecue will draw you to your seat and the sounds of world class jazz will keep you there!
