Are you getting anxious to start your gardening? Come and enjoy a fun-filled day with gardening information provided by Wabash Valley Master Gardeners' Association during the 2008 spring seminar, "get ready, get set, Go Garden." The seminar will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2008, at the Girl Scout Building, located next to the Family Y in Fairbanks Park, Terre Haute, Indiana. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. (EST). Seminars are scheduled from 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Topics covered include preparing beds and hardscapes, perennials with pizzazz, pruning tips, vegetable gardening, plus displaying and judging flowers. Featured guest speaker is Dianne Noland who has hosted and produced WILL-TVs Illinois Gardener show since 1999. Dianne has co-authored eleven books and is currently a horticulture instructor at the University of Illinois. Door prizes will be given. Vendors will be available for shopping. This event is open to the public. Registration fee is $20 by February 29, 2008, or $25 after that date and on the day of the seminar. Fee includes continental breakfast, lunch, and materials.
