Area residents are invited to please join the members and friends of Danville First Presbyterian Church to hear more about the glorious news and reality of Gods love proved by the death and resurrection of his Son, Jesus Christ. Located at the corner of 100 N. Franklin and North Streets, First Presbyterian invites you to the following Easter week worship opportunities: Palm Sunday, March 16 - worship at 9:30 a.m. with children's procession of palms; Thursday evening, March 20, 7 p.m. - a living Lord's Supper presented in the gym; Friday eveing, March 21, 7 p.m. - a Good Friday service of music and darkness in the sanctuary presented by the church choir and music staff in remembrance of Christ's death; and then for Easter Sunday, March 23, a worship celebration of Christ's resurrection at 9:30 a.m. followed by a brunch for all ages and then an Easter egg hunt for children, ages infant to 12. To make reservations for the brunch or Easter egg hunt or for more information, please call 442-0541. A nursery is available for all regular church activities. The Lord is risen, indeed!
