Neighboring towns sale together. Kentland and Brook, two towns within 10 miles from each other, are having their town wide yard sales May 16 and 17. Kentland townwide sale, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. Brook families from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday. In Kentland, Saturday, be sure visit Lions club members on the court house lawn and pick up their famous BBQ chicken. In Brook, the Christian Church Youth Group will be selling sandwiches, chips and pop at McKinley Park to help fund their mission trip to Haiti. Maps available in both towns. Kentland is located at the intersection of U.S. 24 and 41; (13 miles east of Watseka) Brook is north east of Kentland.
