Vernon Burton, Professor of History, African American Studies, and Sociology, will speak on "America in the Age of Lincoln and Today" at the annual meeting of the League of Women Voters of Champaign County. The meeting begind with registration and dessert at 6:45 p.m., program at 7:30 p.m. Visitors are welcome to attend. $10 in advance, or $13 at the meeting. Reservations are required and should be made by May 17, by calling 344-4078.
