The St. Joseph Township-Swearingen Memorial Library continues with its Summer Author series for Adults. On Monday, June 23, at 6 p.m., Brandt Dodson, author of "Original Sin" will be at the library to do a book reading and discussion of his books. A committed Christian, Brandt combined his love for the work of writers like Chandler and Hammett, with his love for God's word. The result, was Colton Parker. Brand has written four books about Colton. Brandt comes from a long line of police officers, spanning several generations, and was employed by the FBI before leaving to pursue his education. A former Naval Reserve officer, Brandt is a board Certified Podiatrist and past President of the Indiana Podiatric Medical Association.
