Leave the breath mints at home and join the Center for Sustainable Community for an afternoon focused on growing and eating one of the world's favorite vegetables. Cost is $30 which includes handouts, recipes and a bulb of Transylvanian garlic! Topics for the afternoon will include: "Learn how to grow and harvest garlic even in a very small garden. "Learn to braid multiple heads of garlic for storage and display. "An entire menu will be prepared using garlic in every course, from soup to dessert. "Taste several varieties of garlic (there are hundreds) and try to find the subtle differences between them.
