The Champaign-Urbana Spinners and Weavers Guild will present their annual show and sale 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8 at Hessel Park Christian Reformed Church, 700 W. Kirby Ave., Champaign. Guild members will display examples of their finest work, including unique handwoven and handknit garments; skeins of handspun and hand-dyed yarns; historically interesting and contemporary household textiles; handcrafted baskets; fashion accessories; home decor items; unique holiday decorations and handcrafted jewelry, including lampworked glass, silk fusion, and felting. Demonstrations of spinning, weaving, knitting, braiding, tatting, and other techniques will be held throughout the Show and Sale. Admission is free.
