Description:
Saturdays. 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. (ages 4-5), 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. (ages 6-7). Session 1: Oct. 25, "Our Bodies." Do you know how your bones work? Or how your blood travels? During this session we discover how our body works. Session 2: Nov. 8, "Junior Weather Forecasters." Learn about different types of weather and how meteorologists predict the weather. Session 3: Dec. 6, "Great Inventors." Learn about the individuals who invented many of the items we use today. Hands-on experiments, collaborative projects and demonstrations will be used to introduce children to the process and spirit of scientific inquiry.$13-$17, resident/non-resident per session; $30-$40, all sessions.
