The Center for Healthy Aging of Provena Covenant Medical Center Foundation will present "The Basics of Medicare - Choosing the Right Path," a free program, throughout October and November. This one-hour course, 6 p.m. Nov. 5; 10:30 a.m. Nov. 11; and 6 p.m. Nov. 13, will guide seniors on all areas of Medicare, including Parts A, B, C and D. Designed to provide information to seniors on how to make Medicare decisions and reduce premiums and other costs. The Center for Healthy Aging of Provena Covenant Medical Center Foundation is located at 410 E. University, Suite 102, in Champaign. The Center is home to community outreach programs of the Provena Covenant Foundation including VIP Advantage, SHIP, Senior Support Services, and more. Free to the public, but reservations are required and seating is limited. Adults turning 65 within the next year or those over 65 who want to change plans this year during open enrollment should call 337-2022 for reservations.
