Description:

The Russel D. Acton Professional Practice Series is holding a continuing education conference at Carle Foundation Hospital on Nov. 11 at the Forum on the Carle campus from either 7:30 a.m. to noon. or 12:30 to 5 p.m.. Topic: "Emotional Intelligence and Diversity: Enhancing Service and Satisfaction." Featured speakers:Lee Gardenswartz and Anita Rowe, diversity consultants and trainers for 30 years and authors of several articles and numerous books. An application has been submitted for continuing education credits for dietetics, social work, physical therapy, occupational therapy and respiratory therapists. 3.5 contact hours will be provided for nursing. Carle Foundation Hospital is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Illinois Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
