5K Fun Run/Walk and Pancake and Sausage Breakfast, Saturday, Nov. 22, Lake of the Woods Pavilion, Mahomet. Race time: 9 a.m. All participants will receive a free breakfast after the race. Registration fee: $25 day of the race; $10 for children under 12. Pancake and sausage breakfast, 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.; $5, open to the public. Meal tickets may be purchased in advance at the Mahomet Public Library. Information and registration forms: www.mahometpubliclibrary.org. Proceeds benefit the Mahomet Public Library Building Project and Rotary Club of Mahomet local and international service projects.
