Blow the dust off that old fiddle, guitar, mando or whatever and join us at C4A for our Wednesday evening workshops, 7:30 to 9 p.m., through Dec. 17, on old-time and bluegrass music. Each session will be directed by two C4A music instructors - a fiddler and a banjo or guitar player. We'll work on learning old-time dance music repertoire, basic ensemble skills, and playing with confidence and zeal, plus creating dialogue in phrasing, and inventing variations! Sight-reading skill is not necessary. Participants should have a minimal level of proficiency and a playable instrument. Sessions cost $5 at the door and will go on a week-by-week basis. No registration or commitment is necessary.
