Turkey Trot is a great way to burn off some calories before you sit down for your Thanksgiving meal. This free 1.5-mile fun run or walk through Crystal Lake Park is open to everyone, so bring your family and guests. And although the event is free, all donations made will help support the Urbana Park District Youthy Scholarship fund and help send deserving kids to camp. Registration begins at 8 a.m. at the Lake House. Run/walk begins at 9am. Lite Rock 97.5 will be on hand to raffle off prizes. Thanks to event sponsors U of I Credit Union and CUMTD.
