The Central Illinois Branch of the Muscular Dystrophy Association of will be hosting an Executive Lock-up Lunch on Dec. 10 at The Tuscany from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Paris community leaders and town members are spending their lunch break by going "behind bars" in MDA jail with a bail set at $500. Bail can be raised by calling coworkers, friends and family. Lunch and phones will be provided to participants. Proceeds raised will go towards MDA's mission of conquering neuromuscular diseases that affect more than a million Americans. MDA is a voluntary health agency aimed at conquering 43 neuromuscular diseases including muscular dystrophy, ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), Spinal Muscular Atrophy and many more. MDA provides comprehensive medical services to people with neuromuscular diseases at MDA affiliated Clinics, and assists with the purchase of medical equipment.For more information:
