Don and Deanna Witzel, owner and operators of the Vermilion County McDonald's have announced plans for their 10th anniversary celebration. The annual Customer Appreciation Week will be held, July 6 to 11 at each of the five Vermilion County McDonald's restaurants. Free "McPack the Place" tickets are available at all Vermilion County McDonald's. Ronald McDonald will be making a special appearance at Danville Stadium on Saturday, July 11. This year's event will hold special meaning for the Witzel's who have created a fund-raising program to benefit the Provena Cancer Center. A $1 Cancer Ribbon Patch is being sold in each of the restaurants from June 26 to July 11. The Witzel's will be providing a match up to $10,000 of all donations made now through July 11. All of the money collected will be donated to Dr. Labayog and the Cancer Center through the Provena USMC Foundation.
