Independence Day Celebration, July 11. 11 a.m. parade, Potomac Grade School on the east to Millie Curtis Park on the west, along U.S. 136. 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Community Cookout, community building, 310 W. State St. 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. JR County bluegrass music, park pavilion. 1:30 p.m. Volunteer of the Year award ceremony, park. 1 to 1:30 p.m. old fashioned kids games. 1 to 5 p.m. Bingo for prizes, community building. 2 to 5 p.m. Wrestling exhibition, park. 6 to 9 p.m. Music by Past Due, grade school. Dusk. Fireworks, grade school. After fireworks, DJ at the Mainsource Bank parking lot until midnight.For more information:
