Description:
Jonathan Bell, a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified personal trainer at the University of Illinois, will insturct on the basics of physical activity recommendations and resistance training program design. Exercise guidelines will be in accoradance with the American College of Sports Medicine (ASCM) recommendations. Topics covered include various types of training on flewibilty and posture, core ,balance, hypertrophy, max strength, and power based programming. There will be handouts and exercise demonstrations.
Ages 14-17
Saturday, March 29, 2:00-3:30
$10 for residetns of Savoy, $13 for non-residents.
