Provena Hospice is recruiting compassionate and caring volunteers to provide comfort and support to terminally ill patients and their families. If you are able to sit with a patient, run errands, be a friend or provide encouragement to family members, this may be the opportunity you are looking for to give back to your community. The Volunteer Training Program will be held at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center (Conference Room 4) on the following days: Tuesdays, March 4, 11 and 25, and Thursdays, March 6, 13 and 27, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Please call Christy Daly at 353-3441 for information.
